WFG
During the summer of 2022, I earned my Life and Health Insurance License for the state of Indiana, and it remains one of my proudest accomplishments. I wanted to challenge myself to do something new, and a good friend from high school encouraged me to explore the finance industry. After getting licensed, I quickly realized that many of the companies I first considered didn’t feel like the right fit. I often felt out of place and unsure if I belonged.
Fortunately, I was recommended to a different organization, and after learning more about the company, I realized it was the best decision I could’ve made. I'm now helping individuals and families by educating them on financial literacy and leadership development. In just two months with this company, I’ve already grown so much and made a meaningful impact.
One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had so far was working with a client who didn’t have any financial plan in place for herself or her children. After building trust and having an honest conversation, I helped her set up a plan that ensures her children will have the funds they need for college and other future expenses. Moments like that remind me why I chose this path.
While I still have so much more to learn especially in building confidence and connecting with clients I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. I’m committed to growing in this field and staying focused on my long-term goal: to help one million families achieve financial security and peace of mind. With consistency and passion, I know I can get there.
Structural Kinesiology
When I first started taking my structural kinesiology lab I wasn't doing too well on my practicals. Then I started looking for ways to help my self and luckily they had a study session that I can go attend before my lab class time. Ever since then I have been attending it and have seen great improvements on my lab exam results and even learned a lot about the muscles and joints in the body. Just this last week I went to my psychical therapist and started mentioning different kind of muscles of my body and he was very impressed about how I knew what part of my body were causing me pain and able to identify it well. This class has taught me to ask for help whenever I need it and not try to feel like I can handle everything myself. I think a lot of my mates feel like it's bad to ask for help but for me whenever I need help I always reach out and that's something I'll forever stick to because like they say two heads are better than one.
