My career goal is to become a Physician Assistant (PA), and I plan to achieve this by first completing my bachelor’s degree, focusing on the necessary prerequisites for PA school. After graduation, I will apply to and attend PA school to gain the clinical knowledge and hands-on experience required to become licensed. Once I am a licensed PA, my long-term vision is to open a hospital in Nigeria, addressing the healthcare needs of underserved populations. I plan to employ physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care while improving the overall healthcare system in the country. My qualifications include my current academic focus and clinical experiences, such as volunteering in healthcare settings, which have equipped me with foundational knowledge and skills. Additionally, I am building a network of mentors and healthcare professionals who guide me in reaching my goals. After this class, I will continue pursuing clinical experience, researching PA programs, and developing a plan for my future hospital in Nigeria, aiming to create a positive impact on healthcare accessibility and quality.
